Competences

My specialisation

Treatment of difficult forms of cancer

I have specialised in the treatment of difficult cancers with a focus on the oesophagus and stomach. I was able to complete my training with the renowned oesophageal surgeon and founder of the international "Siewert classification", Univ.-Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. mult. Jörg Rüdiger Siewert.

Oesophagus

Oesophagus

We distinguish between three types of oesophageal cancer, all of which manifest themselves differently. The earlier a diagnosis is made, the higher the chances of a cure.

Stomach

Stomach

Stomach cancer is one of the malignant diseases of the upper digestive tract. With our interdisciplinary team, we achieve good healing successes.

Liver

Liver

Liver cancer is characterised by symptoms that are difficult to recognise. Most liver metastases that we encounter are secondary tumours.

Pancreas

Pancreas

At first, pancreatic cancer hardly causes any symptoms. New, modern procedures help to detect it at an early stage.

Colon

Large intestine/colon

Our centre in Salzburg is specially adapted to the particularities of colorectal cancer. We ensure a painless diagnosis and individual treatment.

Rectum

Rectum

In the treatment of rectal cancer, we specialise in using the latest technology to preserve continence and avoid an artificial outlet.

Metastases

Metastasis surgery

We offer individual therapy through an interdisciplinary tumour board and develop a tailor-made treatment concept.

Peritoneal carcinomatosis (HIPEC/PIPAC)

If a carcinoma has affected the peritoneum, the innovative HIPEC/PIPAC therapies can be used, which extend local chemotherapies using liquid/AEROSOL.

Adrenal gland

Adrenal gland

We specialise in the diagnosis, clarification and minimally invasive treatment of benign and malignant adrenal tumours.
